Privacy

TRUDJ.net Secure is run by St Croix Tech Services for sending private information (like passwords, account numbers, tax or ID documents) to and from our customers.

What we store, and how

• Messages, answers, files and file names are encrypted on our server with AES-256-GCM, using a separate key for each message. Those keys are themselves encrypted with a master key kept outside the website and the database.
• Who it's for: the recipient's name, email address and/or mobile number, so we can send them the link and their verification codes.
• The activity log: every action (sign-ins, sending, codes sent, opens, downloads, and any administrator access), with the date, the IP address and the browser. It never contains message text, file names, passwords or codes.

How long

A link stops working when it expires, when it has been opened the number of times the sender allowed, or when it's revoked. After that only our administrators can see the record (for example if you ask us to confirm what was sent), and it is permanently deleted 90 days later unless we're required to keep it longer.

Email and text messages

We only email or text the link and one-time codes. Nothing private is ever put in an email or text. See our text message terms.

Who can see it

Only the person you send to (after passing the checks you chose), you, and St Croix Tech Services administrators. We never sell or share it.
